Physiotherapy in your own home
How do I get in contact with you?

What areas do you cover?
Silsden, Addingham, Ilkley, Burley in Wharfedale, Menston, Guiseley and surrounding areas. We are happy for you to enquire if you are outside our area. If we can help you there may be an additional charge.
What happens at my first appointment?
We will arrange to visit you at your home, on a day and time that is convenient for you. We are normally with you about one hour, and will ask you questions about why you need our help. It may be that we need to examine you and this might mean undressing a little, or we might need to feel your joints and muscles. We will always provide advice and treatment at your first session, usually in the form of teaching exercises and stretches. We will discuss your aims and agree how we can best support you.
How long are appointments?
Usually around 40-55 minutes.
How quickly can you see me?
We aim to see you within a few days of your first contact. We are also happy to plan ahead for patients who have not yet been discharged from hospital.
How do I pay you?
We are happy to accept cash, bank transfers or cheques.
What do you charge?
We charge £85 for your initial appointment and £70-£85 thereafter dependent on locality.
I have health insurance. Can I use it to pay for your service?
We are happy to provide you with an insurance receipt for you to claim back part of the cost of your treatment. Please enquire with your individual insurance company to ensure they allow you to claim back costs in this way.
I would prefer someone with me during my appointment. Is this ok?
Of course! You are very welcome to arrange for a friend, carer or family member to be with you during our visit.
How can I check your qualifications?
We are both Chartered and state registered Physiotherapists. You can check our registration online at www.hcpc-uk.org. We are happy to provide you with our registration details.
What do you do with the notes you make about me?
Physiotherapists have a professional and legal obligation to keep an accurate record of their interactions with patients. All of your information is kept securely in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and is kept no longer than is legally necessary.
